EMBLEMS MUST BE WORN BY ALL MEMBERS UNDER 13 YEARS OF AGE. If properly tested and qualified as shown on the bulletin board, children under 13 years of age will be allowed on the dock; otherwise, they are restricted to the near beach. SWIMMING TESTS ARE REQUIRED OF GUESTS UNDER 15 YEARS OF AGE. The staff member at the office will indicate to the member-host the lifeguard who will administer the qualification test to the guest. Members must stay with guests unless they are age 15 and over and have passed the Club guest test. CHILDREN MUST BE QUALIFIED AS GOLD FISH AND 14 YEARS OLD IF THEY ARE TO BE LEFT WITHOUT FAMILY SUPERVISION AT THE CLUB. However, members may not have a 14 year old family member perform as a babysitter for a younger family member. Please do not leave or drop off at the club any family member who is under 14 years old. Babysitters on staff are here to help you 7 days a week. Charge is $10 per hour. Each additional child in the same family is $5 per hour. SWIMMING IS PERMITTED ONLY WHEN LIFEGUARDS ARE ON DUTY. Flippers and goggles are allowed. Other aquatic devices, including masks and snorkels, are allowed when special permission is granted. Consult Manager. Swimming under the float, dock or competitive swim platforms is dangerous and is not permitted. Non-swimmers (Red and Blue Frogs) may not accompany adults on the dock or on the sand behind the dock. At those times when special events are held at the swim lanes, a non-swimmer may accompany a parent on the sand or grass. No diving or jumping off red areas of the dock. Observe water depth signs on the dock. Persons using the slide must be in a sitting or prone position, head first. Backward or standing positions are specifically forbidden. It is important for our elder members to be accompanied by a swim buddy when in the pond. If there is no one available, please make sure to notify the lifeguard of your swimming location. This is for YOUR protection. Parents must be responsible for their children's whereabouts and behavior at all times. Parents must make children aware of the rules pertaining to the fitness equipment and the emblem system when swimming in the pond.
