Guest Registration:
A lifeguard
positioned in the parking lot on busy days will assist in directing members
and guests to the beach office where they may be properly registered and
issued a guest wrist band. Our intent is to account for the people entering
the grounds and maintain the privacy of your membership. We are asking that
all members identify themselves by displaying their badges when entering and
while at the facility. All guests must be registered. A first violation
of this policy will result in suspension of membership. The second violation
will result in termination. Please comply with this policy without issue.
Barbecues &
Picnic Tables:
One of the most
popular areas of our facility. In fairness to all, barbecue pits & tables
may not be reserved. Large groups setting up in the early hours make it
unreasonable for a small group to just prepare for grilling or basket
lunches. Please be considerate of your fellow members.
Diapers & Changing Practices:
Provided in our
Ladies & Men's locker rooms are diaper changing areas. We require that these
areas be used. Changing on the beach or in our picnic areas is inconsiderate
to other members.
CHILDREN IN
DIAPERS ARE NOT ALLOWED IN THE SWIMMING WATER.
WE REQUEST THAT THESE LITTLE
MEMBERS BE DRESSING IN "LITTLE SWIMMERS" DISPOSABLE SWIM PANTS. THIS WILL
PROTECT AGAINST THE POSSIBILITY OF WATER CONTAMINATION. THERE ARE MANY STEPS
WE CAN TAKE TO MAINTAIN HEALTHY AND SAFE SWIMMING WATER; THIS IS AN OBVIOUS
ONE. PLEASE CHECK WITH THE BEACH OFFICE. WE INTEND TO HAVE THIS ITEM
AVAILABLE FOR YOUR PURCHASE.
Club Closing:
During the heat of
the summer, as has been our practice for many years, the beach front will
close at 7:30 PM. Our lifeguards will then have closing chores to do. That
is why we request that members staying on the grounds confine themselves to
the playgrounds, picnic, and grassy areas. While there are no guards on duty
in the chairs, our staff will begin their closing responsibilities without
concern for wayward swimmers. By 8:15 PM, we expect members and guests to be
vacating the grounds. In each of these stated reminders, we are asking for
your cooperation.
We will do our very
best to provide you with a clean, healthy, enjoyable summer season at Copper
Springs.
