The following explanations are intended to clarify guest rules and
procedures and do not supersede any Club rule currently in effect. It is
suggested that each member review the guest rules when entertaining. GUEST IDENTIFICATION & GENERAL INFORMATION 1. A guest is defined as a person using any club facilities (picnic area, patio, beach front, porch, tennis courts or decks) and as such must be registered by the member upon entering the club grounds. 2. A GUEST IS REGISTERED UPON ARRIVAL AT THE CLUB OFFICE BY THE MEMBER-HOST. A guest wrist band is to be obtained and it is to be worn by the guest while he or she is at the Club. Please observe sign-in procedures posted at the Club pertinent to specific activities. During spring and fall, tennis guests are to be signed in on the guest sign-in sheets at The Racquet Center before play. 3. Members must accompany their guests to the Club, except in the case of house guests once they have been introduced to the Club. 4. All guests under age 15 must take a swimming test before using any waterfront area other than the main beach. An explanation of the test may be obtained at the office. 5. All guests will be limited to "4" (four) visits per season. HOUSE GUESTS A member may introduce a house guest to the Club and obtain a guest badge for his or her use. After this original introduction, a member does not have to accompany house guests to the Club on each visit unless the member elects to sign-in house guest each day at the regular daily guest rate. A member may elect to register house guests for a period of a week upon payment of a flat fee of $50 per guest which entitles the guest to the use of all Club facilities. GUEST LIMITATIONS Members may bring four or fewer guests to the Club at any time without making arrangements in advance. Five or more guests on any day constitutes a "party" for Club purposes, and a member must make reservations 5 days in advance. If the Club can accommodate your party, it will endeavor to do so; however, the Club Manager may refuse to register guests in excess of 4 if the day is a busy one at the Club. The seasons are as follows: SWIMMING SEASON: Memorial Day weekend thru Labor Day. TENNIS SEASON: Mid-April to Mid-October. Bonafide Party Guests in the case of children's parties, such as a birthday party, are accorded special exception. Providing the adult host makes the request to the Manager of Program Director 5 days in advance of the party, provides a list of guests who will attend the party, and makes arrangements for any additional staff (if deemed necessary by the Club Program Director or Manager), a child who has already visited the Club 4 times will not be allowed guest privileges. This policy developed as a result of situations which would otherwise be difficult or embarrassing for the member-host. When planning your function please fill out children's party form available at beach office.
